Composer / sound artist Esther Venrooy is fascinated by the fysical and spatial quality of sound. In her most recent work in collaboration with Hans Demeulenaere she focused on the sculptural dimensions of sound which resulted in site-specific compositions and installations. In collaboration with architect Ema Bonifacic she has created an architectural intervention on the first floor of In Situ where different qualities or dimensions of the space will be revealed by creating a relationship between the composed spatial composition of the installation, the space and the sounds of the city.
